Farmingdale, New York, April 17, 2008 – Boundless Technologies today announced the release of the new ADDS 6300 NetTerminal.  The ADDS 6300 NetTerminal provides users with a powerful, cost effective and secure replacement for the Boundless Technologies Models 100, 200 and 500 NetTerminals.
The 6300 NetTerminal provides unmatched performance and user productivity with its simultaneous support for up to twelve sessions over a 10/100 Ethernet connections. Users can run applications from multiple hosts concurrently while each session can be configured independently for the most common UNIX emulations. 
The multi-tasking Linux kernel supports a broad range of configuration options. Each NetTerminal can be configured as a local or network print server through the two RS-232 serial ports and PC compatible printer port. The NetTerminal's serial and parallel ports are network transparent and can be accessed as local UNIX TTY devices from the host, a requirement for many POS applications.
The ADDS 6300 provides two external USB 2.0 ports and two programmable serial port connections along with a bi-directional, PC compatible and locally printable parallel port. The ADDS 6300 supports internal wireless modules and is compatible with IEEE802.11 b/g wireless connections. The 6300 NetTerminal includes the Mozilla Firefox browser for access to the internet, MS Terminal Services connectivity (RDP) and Citrix ICA connectivity.
